Life-changing para kay Michelle Arceo ang pagkapanalo niya ng Gandang Filipina title sa programang Wowowin noong nakaraang linggo.
Malaking tulong daw sa kanya ang mga napanalunan niya sa naturang beauty contest.
Simple lang daw ang buhay ni Michelle bago siya sumali sa Gandang Filipina at hindi siya nahihiyang aminin na may financial problem siya noon.
"I don’t even know what to expect.
“I mean, I kinda have an idea but my life before was very simple.
"I did car shows. I worked a lot. I’m like a normal person.
“I struggled with money, I have to pay for my own rent—everything.
"And now that I won this competition, I don’t have to worry about like how I’m gonna pay the bills for next month, or anything like that.
"I’m gonna be doing something that I enjoy.
“More opportunities and blessings," pahayag niya.
Kabilang sa mga prizes na napanalunan ni Michelle ay P500,000 in cash, isang kotse at kontrata sa GMA Artist Center.
EXCITED. Isa sa matagal nang gustong gawin ni Michelle ay ang mag-aral magsalita ng Tagalog.
Lumaki sa California, USA si Michelle bago siya tumira sa Pilipinas.
"I get to learn how to speak Tagalog better which I’ve always wanted.
“I’ve always wanted to do that.
"When I moved here, I came here not knowing how long I’m gonna be here.
"I’ve never had the expiration date.
“I adore the Philippines, except for the traffic.
"I’m super excited. I’m excited to see what my future has in store for me,” ngiti pa niya.
THANKFUL TO FAMILY. Bago sumali si Michelle sa Gandang Filipina, modelo ito at paminsan-minsan ay lumalabas sa ilang TV shows bilang talent tulad sa Bubble Gang, Home Sweetie Home, Juan Happy Love Story, Dolce Amore, ParangNormal, CelebriTV at sa mga pelikulang This Time at Magtanggol.
Pinasasalamatan ni Michelle ang kanyang pamilya dahil sa suporta na binibigay nila sa kanya parati.
