Sunshine Dizon admits that her 2016 was a mix of challenges and opportunities.
In a recent interview, the Ika-6 na Utos actress told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “Well, siguro in spite of all the things that happened this year, all the trying times, God has been so good to me naman.
“You know, He has blessed me more.”
In 2017, Sunshine is keeping her hopes higher.
She said, “I just take my life one day at a time. That's how I have been naman always.
“But, you know, it's good din naman to be hopeful—to have faith and hope that everything will fall into place for next year.
“Yun na lang, dasal-dasal na lang tayo na mas maganda."
Asked if she believes in making a New Year's resolution, Sunshine laughed and said, “Dati, oo, pero parang taun-taon naman yun lang din ang sinasabi ng mga tao, na hindi naman nila ginagawa.”
She added, “Siguro ako, best advice na lang na I can give for that New Year resolution thing is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
“Di ba, if there's something wrong, then you try to fix it.
“Assess your life. What are the things that you're doing in your life now na tama.
“So, pag tama 'yan, then continue doing it and improve on it.
“Kapag alam mong may mali, e di, tanggalin or alisin. Ganun lang.”
Sunshine also stressed in the end, “Let's make it simple lang.
"Hindi yung promise ka nang promise sa sarili mo or sa ibang tao, tapos hindi mo naman itutuloy."
