Ayon kay Alden Richards, hindi porke’t gusto ng ibang taong magkaroon na siya ng relasyon ay yun na rin ang gusto niya.
Batid ng Kapuso star na madalas siyang tanungin tungkol sa estado ng relasyon nila ng kanyang onscreen partner na si Maine Mendoza, pero hindi pa tinutukoy ng dalawa kung sila na nga ba o hindi pa.
Palagay kasi ng marami, love life na lang ang kulang sa buhay ni Alden ngayon.
Ngunit pahayag ng Pambansang Bae, “That’s what people think about my life, it’s not what I think about my life.
“Kumbaga, that’s what they want for me.
“But the thing is, kumbaga, I’m really contented with the relationships that I have with people [at] this time.”
Paliwanag pa ni Alden, hindi lang naman sa iisang tao nakatuon ang kanyang pagmamahal.
“And I don’t really get the sense of when they say love life. Love life ba, meaning you have a significant other?
“Parang, ako kasi, ang dami kong significant others, e. There are a lot of people in my life right now that I care for, that I love.
“So, hindi lang siya one person.”
Sundot pa ng aktor, “I just don’t know kung bakit other people are very eager for me to have a relationship with others.”
Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at isa pang miyembro ng press si Alden sa Cadbury event noong Biyernes, September 23.
Vocal si Alden sa pagsasabing prayoridad niya ang kanyang pamilya at nagtatrabaho siya nang mabuti upang mabigyan sila ng magandang buhay.
Dagdag niya, “But whatever they see now, whatever I have now, dun ako kuntento.
“I’m contented with what I have.”
Natanong din kay Alden kung ano pa ba ang kulang sa buhay niya para matawag itong 'joyful life.'
Tugon niya, “You know what, ang daming questions like that.
“Kasi for me, happiness is perspective.
“It’s how you see your life. It’s not having the things that you don’t have.
“It’s enjoying and being contented with what you have.
“That’s how I see happiness.
“And I enjoy kasi when you always tend to look for something that’s not there, you’ll never be happy.
“And you’ll always end up envious of other people that they have this and you don’t have that.”
