Nagpahayag ng lungkot at panghihinayang ang ilang local celebrities sa biglaang pagkamatay ng singer at former The Voice US contestant na si Christina Grimmie.
Binaril noong Biyernes, June 10 (June 11, Sabado sa Manila), sa Orlando, Florida, si Christina sa naganap na meet-and-greet pagkatapos ng kanyang concert kasama ang bandang Before You Exit sa The Plaza Live Orlando.
Sa simula, noong naibalitang kritikal ang kundisyon ni Christina matapos ang natamong gunshot, nagpahayag na sa Twitter ang ilang celebrities na ipagdarasal nila ang 22-year-old singer.
Kabilang na rito ang American Idol alumna na si Jessica Sanchez, at local singers na sina KZ Tandingan at Xian Lim.

KILLER IDENTIFIED. Samantala, nakilala na ang killer ni Christina na nagpakamatay rin matapos ang ginawang pamamaril sa singer.
Ayon sa tweet ng Orlando Police Department, ang killer ay nagngangalang Kevin James Loibl, 27 years old mula sa St. Petersburg, Florida.

Sa report na inilathala sa official website ng City of Orlando, dala-dala diumano ng suspect ang dalawang loaded na baril at isang hunting knife.
Matapos barilin ng suspect ang singer ay nahabol ito ni Mark Grimmie, ang kapatid ni Christina, at saka ito nagpakamatay.
Naging contestant si Christina ng 6th season ng The Voice US at nanalong third place.
Bumisita naman dito sa Pilipinas ang young singer noong October 2014 nang mag-concert siya sa Ayala Malls.
