Local celebrities and personalities extend their congratulations to Jaclyn Jose for her Best Actress award at the recently-concluded Cannes Film Festival. Jaclyn won for her performance in Ma' Rosa, beating Hollywood stars Charlize Theron, Marion Cotillard, and Kristen Stewart.

Jaclyn Jose's colleagues in the local entertainment industry and even politicians congratulated the veteran actress for her win as Best Actress in the recently-concluded 69th Cannes Film Festival.

Jaclyn won for her lead role in Brillante Mendoza's Ma' Rosa.

Leading the well-wishers are the Eigenmanns and Andi Eigenmann's half-brothers Gabby Eigenmann and Sid Lucero.

Andi is Jaclyn's daughter with the late Mark Gil and who also plays one of her children in Ma' Rosa.

Andi's ex-boyfriend, Jake Ejercito, also posted a congratulatory message for the veteran actress.

Other celebrities who posted messages on social media include Angel Locsin, Aiza Seguerra, Lauren Young, director Antoinette Jadaone, Jhong Hilario, and her Ma' Rosa co-star Maria Isabel Lopez.
