It tickled the fans of Pia Wurtzbach no end to read the Twitter message of the Sexiest Doctor Alive, Mikhail “Dr. Mike” Varshavski, to her a few hours before the Binibining Pilipinas 2016 coronation pageant.
Recently, Pia finally confirmed that she and the famous Dr. Mike are dating.

Dr. Mike said in his tweet to Miss Universe 2015: “Even though tonight you're giving up the crown, you'll forever be my Miss Phillipines! @PiaWurtzbach #BbPilipinas2016 #comebacksoon”

Meanwhile, at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, Pia let on that she felt emotional about being there as it brought back memories of her struggle to achieve the crown.
Earlier in ASAP, Piolo Pascual asked her for words of advice to the Binibining Pilipinas finalists.
She said, “I’ve been there before many times, so alam ko yung nararamdaman nila ngayon as we speak.
“Naging first runner-up na ako. There was a time where I came home empty-handed.
"Then, finally, I bagged the crown.
“Ang pinakaimportanteng lesson na natutunan ko is what your plans are after the pageant.
“Because after, what are you gonna do tomorrow even if you have that crown on your head or not?
“That’s what’s most important, yun yung advice ko sa mga girls.
"That Binibining Pilipinas is a great way for you to mature.
“You bring that with you for the rest of your life, and I mean that.”
And then she quipped, “And that is not a pageant answer.”
