Kris Aquino admitted that she felt emotional about her decision to take a break from show business.
The Queen of All Media revealed that she was already suffering from separation anxiety the day after she announced that she’s temporarily leaving showbiz.

The 45-year-old TV host-actress said in Kris TV's March 15 episode, “When you’re in denial pa about something, you’re okay. Tapos when you admit it...
“So, when my ate [Ballsy] called she said, ‘Are you ok?’ Sabi ko, ‘Ang galing mo.’
“Sabi niya, ‘Why?’
“Sabi ko, ‘Ang taas ng BP [blood pressure] ko, Ate, 148/99 ako ngayon.’
“Sabi niya, ‘I knew it. I knew you’d be sad, kasi yung mga friends ko nga na fans ko, sad na, what more na ikaw pa.’
“Sabi niya, ‘No, no, no! Don’t worry about it. You’re gonna be healthy. Malay mo, kapag naging super healthy ka, yun ang next career mo, health and wellness.”
Kris further stated, “At least ina-acknowledge ko sa inyong lahat na kung kayo po ay nalulungkot, lungkot na lungkot din po ako.”
The Queen of All Media taped her last episode for Kris TV last March 10. And her contract with ABS-CBN will officially expire on March 23.

To take her mind off work, Kris has already planned at least three trips with her sons Josh and Bimby.
She said that the three of them got to choose the places where they would go to for the next few months.
BUDGET-TRAVELLING WITH BIMBY AND JOSH. Kris, however, surprised Kris TV head writer Darla Sauler and guest co-host Isabelle Daza when the former admitted to traveling on a budget for Josh’s birthday in June.
“Tapos si Kuya, June 4, parang debut niya, kasi he’ll be 21. Imagine, I have a 21-year-old!
“He also got to choose. I showed him all the possible resorts.
“Siyempre meron siyang isang pinili na sabi ko, ‘Kuya, pasensiya na. Ang income ni Mama at that point won’t be the same. So, puwedeng dun tayo sa… Eto, dito ka lang mamili.’
“Meron siyang nahanap. It’s as nice but one third the cost of where Josh originally wanted to go.
“So, si Bimbs naririnig kami, [sabi nung bunso], ‘Why, are we gonna be poor?’
“Sabi ko, ‘No! Relax! It’s just that gusto ko matuto kayo.’”
At that point, Darla ribbed Kris, “Nakikinita ko na after ilang months, ‘Go back to work, Mom! Tinitipid mo na kami!’”
But Kris only laughed and said that Bimby even offered not to travel on his birthday anymore.
“Ewan ko sa ‘yo, Darla! Hindi naman. I explained it to them.
“Si Bimby ang nagsabi pa, ‘We don’t have to go to mine.’
“Sabi ko, ‘No! Yours is pre-paid kasi we have that vacation club. You were a baby we bought that na, so let's make use of it."
