Ito ang pahayag ni Toni Gonzaga tungkol sa kontrobersiya na nilikha ng kanyang paghu-host sa Binibining Pilipinas 2015 grand coronation night noong Linggo, March 15.

Binigyan ng pagkakataon ng Star Cinema si Toni na magpaliwanag tungkol sa isyu sa press conference ng pelikula nila ni Coco Martin, ang You're My Boss, nitong Martes ng gabi, March 17.
Bilang panimula, sinabi ng Kapamilya TV host-actress, “This will be the first and the last time I will talk about this kasi noong Sunday pa po ito.
“We have all moved on from it.
“'Tapos na po yung coronation night and we have already declared the winners.”
Kasunod nito ay humingi siya ng paumanhin sa mga taong nadismaya sa paraan niya ng paghu-host sa Binibining Pilipinas.
“Siyempre, parang nagkaroon ng national debate kung nagustuhan ba nila o hindi nagustuhan ang napanood nila,” biro ni Toni.
Pero seryoso niyang dadag, “I'm humbly asking for apology kung I have offended, I have maligned or I have hurt anyone of you.”
Ngunit diin ni Toni, “It was never my intention.
"Prior to the show, I was instructed to make the show fun, light, and ease the tenstion, especially during the Q&A portion.
“So, it was never my intention, again, it was instructed for the host that way—to make it lively and fun, of course, in the spirit of the celebration ng Binibining Pilipinas coronation night.”
FIRST TIME. Bagamat naging kontrobersiyal ang ginawa niya noong Linggo, nagpapasalamat pa rin si Toni sa oportunidad na ibinigay sa kanya.
“I wanna thank the Binibining Pilipinas for giving me the opportunity.
“It was a wonderful event kasi first time kong ma-experience yung ganung kasayang crowd, ganung ka-wild na audience.
“It was definitely a memorable experience for me,” aniya.
Nagpasalamat din ang Kapamilya host sa mga kaibigan sa showbiz na nagtanggol at nagbigay ng mga mensahe ng pagsuporta sa kanya.
“Maraming-maraming salamat po. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart.”
Sa huli, pakiusap ni Toni, “In the spirit na rin po of beauty pageants, let's end this issue with world peace.”
