Heart Evangelista turned the big 3-0 last Valentine’s day, February 14.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was one of the few media representatives that got invited to the three-day-long wedding party of Heart and Senator Chiz Escudero at the exclusive, for-members-only resort in Quezon province.
Comprised of seven themed “villages,” the Royal Villa served as the venue for Heart’s birthday/despedida de soltera/welcome party for all the VIP guests who flew in from Manila to Balesin earlier that day.
From celebrities to high-profile businessmen, they were all on party mode as Heart’s bridesmaids prepared a surprise program for her.
In lieu of her 30thbirthday, the Kapuso star’s sisters, close friends, and some relatives revealed some of their most unforgettable (and sometimes embarrassing) bonding moments with Heart.
Aside from the “10 photos” and “10 gifts,” the program also included the “10 dares” game where Heart was tasked to accomplish a challenge or drink a shot of tequila should she fail to do so.
Some of the celebrities who attended the event were Solenn Heussaff, Lovi Poe, Jolina Magdangal, Mark Escueta, Kyla, Mark Bautista, Jonalyn Viray, Jaya, 24 Oras anchorwoman Mel Tiangco, and Bandila anchorwoman Karen Davila.
Senator Chiz Escudero's mom Evelyn Escudero as well as his twins Joaquin and Maria Cecilia were also present at Heart's birthday celebration.
As part of the presentation of "10 gifts," Mrs. Evelyn Escudero gave Heart two self-help books about marriage and parenting technique as well as a pack of chocolates.
"I have another gift for you. It is chocolates. Alam mo kung bakit?
"Gusto ko naman mag-gain ka ng konting weight. Para meron kang konting taba.
"Happy birthday and all the best. We love you in the family!” Mrs. Escudero cheerfully exclaimed.
