Scarlett Johansson has been voted the "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire magazine.

The Avengers actress—who recently became engaged to French advertising agency boss Romain Dauriac last month—became the first woman to be honored with the title twice following her previous win in 2006.

Scarlett is seen wearing panties and a tank top on the cover of the November issue of the magazine, in which she admits that jealousy "comes with the territory" when dating a Frenchman but she enjoys being with a man "who's a little jealous."

The 28-year-old screen beauty also dishes on her acting career, as she jokingly tells the magazine she's "gotta hustle" for her parts and knows all the good roles are likely to stop as she gets older.

She jokingly said: "Pretty soon the roles you're offered all become mothers. Then they just sort of stop."

Scarlett has previously joked that her deep raspy voice prevented her from getting work in commercials when she was younger because she sounded far too mature for her age.

She said: "I was always terrible at commercials because my voice was so deep.

"At the age of nine, I sounded like a whiskey-drinking, chain-smoking fool. Wasn't going to sell Jell-O with that voice."

Past women to be crowned the "Sexiest Woman Alive," include actress Minka Kelly; Rihanna, who won the title in 2011; and Mila Kunis, who was awarded the honor last year.
