Vice Ganda hits back at overzealous fans of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo who misinterpreted the comedian-TV host's tweets about taking selfies on election day.
In his series of Twitter posts, Vice Ganda clarifies that he was not criticizing Daniel and Kathryn for being caught in the controversy about their photo-ops with election ballots.

Vice Ganda also tells KathNiel fans that he was actually referring to his own experience at the polling precinct and not to the incident involving their idols.

The Gandang Gabi Vice host is dismayed that the school principal in his polling precinct was willing to violate the Comelec's rule about refraining from taking photos in the vicinity in order to protect the sanctity of the ballots.
Ang bongga dito e yung mismong principal nung school ang gustong magselfie daw kami! Buti na lng nakapagpigil ako at nag NO ako ng maayos.

Nakakalungkot! Diba gusto natin ng pagbabago? E bkit simpleng patakaran na walang magseselfie sa presinto di masunod? Matigas ba ulo o bobo?
