INC officially endorses Rodrigo Duterte-Bongbong Marcos tandem

<p>Vote-rich religious sect, Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), chooses Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as presidential bet and Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as vice-presidential bet for the upcoming May 9 elections. </p>

Pormal nang inendorso ng Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) ang presidential candidate na si Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte at vice-presidential candidate na si Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Base ito sa ulat ng Net25 na siyang TV network ng naturang religious group, na nailathala sa Twitter account ng dzBB.

Ito ay matapos ng ilang araw na espekulasyon hinggil sa napipisil na kandidato ng INC, na binubuo ng humigit-kumulang 1.7 million na botante.

Sa hiwalay na ulat ng Philippine Daily Inquirer kagabi, May 4, nailathala na noon pa lang Lunes ay nanawagan na ang INC executive minister na si Eduardo Manalo sa kapatiran ng naturang grupo na magkaisa sila sa pagboto kina Duterte at Marcos, sa pamamagitan ng ipinakalat nilang "circular read" sa kanilang mga miyembro sa buong bansa.

Mayroon din umanong ipinakalat na sample election ballot kung saan makikitang minarkahan ang mga pangalan ng mga kandidatong kanilang susuportahan.

Ayon pa sa ulat ng Eagle News online news, makikita rin sa mga sample ballot na ito ang napili ng INC na senatorial candidates.

Ito ay sina Joel Villanueva, Richard "Dick" Gordon, Franklin Drilon, Risa Hontiveros, Martin Romualdez, Ralph Recto, Manny Pacquiao, Vicente “Tito” Sotto, Sherwin "Win" Gatchalian, Panfilo Lacson, at Miguel “Migz” Zuburi.
