Anjo Yllana and Eugene Domingo guested in Startalk earlier today, March 14, 2009, to plug their new show Cool Center. The light-hearted talk between Anjo, Eugene and hosts Joey de Leon and Lolit Solis shifted to the show's first guest and Anjo's brother Jomari Yllana. Lolit, who asked whether Jomari would finally talk regarding the issue on the breakup was affirmed by Anjo joking, "Sana, dahil sayang yung pag-guest niya kung katulad kagabi sa 24 Oras na, 'Pagod ako, I'm tired.'"
On a serious note, what does Anjo have to say on Martin's earlier interview regarding the Pops-Jomari breakup?
"Ok naman," Anjo said. "Nirerespeto ko naman si Martin, kaya lang para sa akin, e, feeling ko kasi, e, noong naghiwalay si [Jom] at Pops, e, dapat silang dalawa lang muna. Kasi, si Pops naman kasi nakakausap ko, e. Ang feeling ko puwede sila magkabalikan, e. Feeling ko, mahal pa ni Jom si Pops at si Pops, mahal si Jom. Sa dami ng kuwento at nakikisama na, e, parang nagkanya-kanyang sides na."
To make things short, Anjo wants everybody to lay off the Pops and Jomari issue. "Hayaan muna natin sila, kasi kabi-break lang nila, e," he added. "Parang wala pang dalawa-tatlong araw, e, ano, na... 'Pera.'"
Anjo then proceeded to share that he saw and spoke to Pops last night. "Sabi niya kagabi na sabi daw ng friends niya na may third party daw—si Maui Taylor. So siyempre, ang dami nang lumalabas. At siyempre, marami nang susulsol kay Jomari at marami nang susulsol kay Pops. Sabi ko kasi sa dalawa na, 'If you are ever going to break up, e, magkaibigan kayo. Sayang ang apat na taon. Sana maghiwalay sila na magkaibigan—hindi magkaaway."
Anjo admitted that he hasn't spoken with Jomari yet regarding the issue though he said he was very much surprised with Jomari's statement at the news last night. All Jomari said, according to Anjo, was he was tired.
"So siyempre inisip ko na sa concert, e, sobrang na-pressure siya. Puwedeng nagselos. Puwedeng pera. Kasi nga, Araneta 'yan. Mga first-time producers ito, so malaking pera ilalabas nito. Baka nasama na siguro problema sa pera at nagkapatung-patong na..."
Before he could continue, Joey and Lolit cut him off and said that people should instead watch the show Cool Center to find out more.
