Nauna nang nag-guest nang live sa The Buzz si Geneva Cruz last February 15 upang linawin ang isyung hiwalayan umano nila ng asawang si KC Montero. Pinabulaanan ni Geneva ang isyung ito.
Kamakailan ay bumalik ng Pilipinas si KC Montero. Kaya pagkakataon naman ni KC na magpaliwanag sa mga isyung ibinabato sa kanilang mag-asawa, sa kanyang live guesting sa The Buzz last Sunday, March 1.
Kaagad na kinumusta ng host na si Boy Abunda si KC at tinanong kung ano ba ang pinagkakaabalahan niya sa U.S.
"I'm a real estate agent for my dad's broker," sagot ni KC.
Ano ang nami-miss mo dito sa Pilipinas?
"My wife, for one. I miss the lifestyle here, the work. Sa States, salesman ako, hindi naman ako salesman, e. I'm more of a spokesman than a salesman."
How are you? Are you okay?
"I'm okay. I'm still adjusting."
Sabi mo, you miss your wife. Is it true na last year, there came a point na parang hindi kayo nagkakaunawaan kasi Geneva wanted to do more? She was missing the work. Naging dahilan ba ito ng mga away-away?
"We haven't fought. But it's hard for her to be a housewife. I mean, she's been a performer since, what, 12 years old? I understand her. It's hard for her to quit and do stuff of becoming a housewife," paliwanag ni KC.
Noong narinig mo yung suicide attempt umano ni Geneva, ano ang iyong naging reaksiyon?
"You know, that's really one of the issues that bothers us the most," sabi ni KC. "Geneva is so against suicide. She's a very strong woman. I'm here or not, even if out of her life, she's gonna to do better probably without me, you know. She's very, very strong. And when you hear people say that's she's committed suicide, it really, really bothers me. And it bothers her, as well. She's gonna survive regardless of what happens with her life."
Let's talk about Heaven (anak ni Geneva kay Paco Arespacochaga), there was a talk na iniiwan daw ni Geneva si Heaven to your parents. Ang implication is that your parents are not happy about this thing. What is the truth?
"My parents are ecstatic to have Heaven in the house," sabi ni KC. "They love him like he is their own son. Geneva cannot leave her son anywhere. She comes back to the States. She goes to the Philippines. She can't bring Heaven back and forth. Siyempre, he's got to go to school."
So, walang katotohanan?
"Wala."
How is Heaven?
"Heaven is good. He is 5'3", basketbolista. May mga chicks na!" natatawa pang sabi ni KC.
For how long are you going to stay here?
"I will be staying here for a couple of weeks."
May mga plano ka ba to go back to work here?
"Maybe in June, when Heaven finishes his school, I'll come back. But we'll see what happens."
What is your message to your fans, to the people who continue to love and support you?
"For my fans, kung meron pa akong fans, I just like to say, 'Hi', nandito po si KC Montero, ang pangalan ko. Thanks for supporting us. Actually, thank you to those who support Geneva. She's very strong woman. And it hurts to know that some people talk bad about her. There's always issues in showbiz. We understand that. She's my wife and I love her. I will support her no matter what she does. Whether I'm in her life or not, she's gonna carry on and be a good woman, a good mother and a good daughter, and a good wife."
