Sen, whose full name is Hansen Nichols, got the boot from Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 last Saturday, August 30. The following day, August 31, Sen talked about his experiences inside the Academy and his innermost feelings about his expulsion from the Academy on The Buzz.
Sen could hardly believe that he's actually a guest on The Buzz and he admitted, "I can't believe that I'm here. Doon, sa States, hindi ko alam na mararating ako dito."
Commenting on Sen's unfortunate expulsion from PDA, The Buzz host Cristy Fermin quoted something from Martin Nievera. She said, "Alam mo, kung may nakakausap akong tulad mo na hindi gaano naging tagumpay, naaalala ko si Martin Nievera. Sabi niya, ‘You don't have to win to become a winner.' Alam mo, sa isip at kamalayan ng Pilipino ngayon, bahagi ka na ng bansa ngayon."
Moving on with the interview, Cristy focused on Sen's probable feelings about his expulsion from PDA. Did he feel sad, disappointed?
"Sa tingin ko, suwerte ako talaga," Sen answered. "Kasi malayo at inabot ako dito sa number seven talaga. That is a big thing talaga. Akala ko I wouldn't reach that mark. So, lucky number seven po ako."
Of the remaining top six in PDA, who among them does Sen honestly think should have been eliminated instead of him?
"Sino doon?" Sen nervously laughed. After thinking awhile, he said, "Ang sasabihin lang doon, suwerte din sila. They worked so hard to be there. We all worked so hard to be there. Nagkataon lang na critical yung last week na kailangan mag-perform."
Cris Pastor, Sen's classmate and rumored to be special to Sen's life was now Cristy's topic. She asked, "Sen, anong totoong relasyon ninyo ni Cris sa akademya?"
"Actually kay Cris, may respect ako sa kanya. And the truth is, may boyfriend siya sa labas," revealed Sen. "Tanggap ko ‘yan. Lalo na sa loob ng Academy—kasama kami doon 24/7—so halimbawa, siya nagbigay ng attention sa akin and then siya nag-catch ng eye ko. So, we were able to get to know each other."
What is Sen's message to his fans who supported him all the way?
"Ang gusto ko sabihin sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin, ay maraming-maraming salamat po," Sen answered. "It doesn't mean I'm going anywhere. Laban pa rin. Ganoon ako, yung pagkatao ko, lumalaban ako buong buhay ko. And sana lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin will continue to support me."
