If you're doing some last-minute search on where to possibly spend the four-day break, we asked our friends from Google Philippines about the most searched beaches in the country.
You'll be surprised Boracay and Palawan are not included on the list.
Most of them are found in Luzon, six are just a few hours away from Manila, and three are in Pangasinan.
So if you haven't made plans yet, one of these beaches or all three of them can give you your much-deserved dose of Vitamin Sea.

What's to love about it?
The golden brown + white sand combo, the sunset, the rock formations, and the crystal blue waters
How far from Manila?
Manila to Pangasinan by bus: five hours; by private vehicle: four hours
Burgos Town Proper to the beach: about one hour (note: remote and off the beaten track)
What to do
Camping, swimming in the sea, island hopping (PHP1,500 fee for boat rental), and diving into its famous Death Pool, which forms near the beach during high tide.

What's to love about it?
It's called the "Little Boracay" because of its ash-colored powdery sand; its long (about one kilometer) and shallow waters during low tide; clean and clear beach; entrance fee is just five pesos.
How far from Manila?
Manila to Pangasinan by bus: almost six hours; by private vehicle: almost five hours
Anda Town Proper to the beach: 30 minutes
What to do
Swimming! No wi-fi so you can have some serious R&R. Do not miss the sunset.
Patar Beach in Bolinao
What's to love about it?
Its stretch of golden beach dubbed as the "Boracay of the North"; the interesting rock formations; it's near the Bolinao Falls
How far from Manila?
Manila to Pangasinan by bus: almost six hours; by private vehicle: almost five hours
Bolinao Town Proper to the beach: 30 minutes
What to do?
Swimming, checking out the magnificent view from the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse, dropping by Bolinao Falls, exploring the caves of Enchanted, Cindy, and Wonderful.
