It comes as no surprise that Boracay and El Nido remain the top travel destinations in the Philippines.
But Department of Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat sees Siquijor will become one of the top tourist destinations in the future.
She tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other Summit Media websites during their virutal chat on March 12, 2021: "If you're a diver, it's there. If you're into healing, it's there. I can imagine that's what Boracay, what the other tourist destinations were before?
"That's now my new favorite spot."
