First-time moms Isabel Oli-Prats and Chynna Ortaleza-Cipriano were in attendance during the launch of LJ Reyes's own mommy mobile app.

If you are a first-time mom, you tend to become a worrywart.

LJ Reyes, Isabel Oli, and Chynna Ortaleza are no exception.

At the media launch of LJ's mommy mobile app, MApp, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was able to catch up with these three lovely stars.

Aside from lack of sleep, what have been their other worries as moms?

Isabel and Chynna were quick to answer their baby's health as the top concern.

Mrs. Prats who gave birth to Baby Lilly Feather last April 18 told PEP, "For me kasi, my concern is when they get sick, what to do talaga.

"Should I bring her na ba to the hospital? Yung mga gano'n."

Same goes for Mrs. Cipriano, "Well, for me, number one is how to secure my baby’s health. That’s number one for me."

She added, "So when I got pregnant, I had to really look for a pediatrician, right away. And then I had to secure every thing medically."

Her research skills came in handy when Stellar came into her life.

"Yung research ko, in the beginning when I found out that I was pregnant, was all about that [securing baby's health].

"Parang I wanted to know how to really take care of the baby, if the baby is safe, lahat ng puwedeng maging complication kapag infant pa siya."

In LJ's case, she went through a "nakakabaliw" moment when her six-year-old son Aki had a fever.

"...mataas to the point na iyak siya ng iyak."

What's worse was that "naging unconscious siya" while LJ was in a shoot.

"Nabaliw talaga ako nun," the actress exclaimed.

For her, "Above anything talaga, it’s health.

"Alam mo yun, sometimes kasi yung mga sakit ngayon is very tricky. Like kung akala mo fever lang yun, pero it can branch out to a lot of things."

This became her motivation to come up with something that could help her fellow moms.

THE MOBILE APP. Her new app, which came into reality after five months of planning and developing, was designed to become moms' newest best friend.

A special category of the app is all about health concerns.

LJ explained, "When Aki was younger, nung hindi pa siya nakakapagsalita kung anong nararamdaman niya, nagba-base lang ako sa signs."

MApp provides moms with lists of what to do and what not to do especially when the baby is sick.

Aside from the health-related topics, MApp also has lists of places, both restaurants or recreational, that are kid-friendly.

Moms and dads can also communicate with LJ through the app.

"Let's help each other build a loving community that supports each other," LJ told her fellow mommas.

MApp is available on Android and soon on iOS.

AT THE EVENT. The interview was held at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Cubao, last September 29.
