GMA-7 actress-comedienne Valeen Montenegro joyfully announced she and husband Riel Manuel are expecting their first child.

Valeen shared this wonderful news via Instagram Reel, posted on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, coinciding with her 35th birthday.
In the video, Valeen is seen proudly displaying her baby bump and sharing precious clips of her loved ones' heartfelt reactions to the news.
"Been keeping a little secret," Valeen wrote in the caption, along with a baby bottle and teddy bear emojis.

After finding out about the news, fans and followers of Valeen have taken to social media to extend their congratulations and best wishes.
Among the many who congratulated Valeen and Riel are several of their celebrity friends.
Carla Abellana expressed her excitement with a heartfelt comment: "Waaah! How blessed! Happy Birthday indeed! CONGRATULATIONS, Val and Riel!!! [emojis]"

Valeen and Riel started dating in 2018.
They got engaged in November 2022 and married on January 12, 2024, in Makati City.
