Despite nearing her third trimester, soon-to-be mom-of-two Dani Barretto told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press that many people are still surprised to find out she and her husband Xavi Panlilio are expecting their second child.
"I think actually it's good that you are all here kasi, parang, even if in-announce ko ito sa Instagram, may mga tao pa rin hindi pa nila alam," said Dani.
"So at least ngayon masasabi niyo na sa kanila."
Dani gave updates on her second pregnancy at the contract-signing event of the first ambassador of her wellness drink brand, Wellness Whispers, her very own sister, Julia Barretto.
The event was held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Seda Hotel Vertis North in Quezon City.

DANI BARRETTO: BABY BOY
Dani announced her pregnancy on Instagram on June 20, 2024.
She posted a photo of herself in a white dress, proudly displaying her baby bump, and captioned it, "Growing a love too beautiful for words. Hello Baby #2! We can’t wait to meet you," along with a blue heart emoji.
Dani told the press that she and Xavi are expecting a baby boy this time around.
"It's a boy... Kumpleto na po ako. May set na po ako."
And her second pregnancy has been going manageable so far, allowing her to stay very hands-on with her business.
In her words, "I think it's just juggling everything all at once. Kasi parang my pregnancy came at the time that I was also very, very busy... That there was a lot in store that was happening.
"But, I'm very grateful that my son is so, so easy. Like, he lets me work. He lets me do the things I have to be, the places where I have to be.
"So yun yung pinaka-challenge. Bu,t at the same time, I'm grateful na it's a smooth pregnancy talaga."
DANI BARRETTO: PREPARING FOR BABY NUMBER TWO
Dani revealed that she is due in November, and has already converted their home office into a nursery.
She said, "Yun naman ang sinasabay ko [sa business]. We're currently renovating our house kasi nga, we actually, baby number two was not planned initially.
"So nagulat din kami when I found out. So we had to make some big changes. So we had to renovate our house. The baby's room. It used to be an office.
"So now, we're renovating it for a baby's office."
Besides the baby's room, she and her husband have also decided to make major changes to their kitchen.
"Tapos, since I'm doing a lot of baon-serye [vlogs] online, ito na-renovate ko na din yung kusina namin. Yung inasahan ko na. Andoon ako, e."
Dani and Xavi exchanged vows in April 2019 following a two-year relationship. In the same year, they celebrated the arrival of their daughter Millie in September.
