Fresh from her wedding to Nonrev Daquina on April 25, 2024, Angeline Quinto has exciting news to share, keeping the positive momentum of their family going.
It all unfolded on May 6, 2024, when the singer-actress hopped on the make-up bandwagon that has been making the rounds on TikTok'.
This is the Asoka Make-up Trend that has Filipino makeup enthusiasts riding on it in droves with their own spin in Filipino attire and dancing to the tune of Angeline's "Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas."

PINOY-FIED ASOKA CHALLENGE
For Angeline's entry, the 34-year-old celebrity mom flaunted two ensembles: one in a sultry red Filipiniana gown, and another in traditional ethnic costume, complete with a feathered headdress.
As the vocalist of the trend's song, Angeline playfully wrote, "Magpapahuli pa ba ako?"
Thanks to the collaborative efforts of stylist Aaron Mangsat, hairstylist Angel Jamelarin, and make-up artist Owen Sarmiento, she effortlessly nailed the challenge.

Angeline's back-to-back reveal
But Angeline has more to show off: Her baby bump!
Indeed, she and Nonrev are set to welcome their second baby before the year ends, two years after giving birth to baby Sylvio on April 27, 2022.
And, without leaving room for more suspense, they also included a gender-reveal portion in the same one-minute video.
The couple confirmed, after hitting a piñata filled with pink confetti, that Sylvio is having a younger sister.

For those still not in the know, the Bollywoodp-based Asoka Make-up Trend draws inspiration from the 2001 Hindi film Asoka, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, which fictionalizes the story of ancient Mauryan emperor Ashoka the Great.
Content creators who were up to the task of completing the challenge, recreated Indian bridal looks from the movie while dancing to its official soundtrack San Sanana.
