Kyla has once again suffered from a miscarriage.
This she reveals in an interview with the Kapamilya network's daytime talk show Magandang Buhay on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
She says, "For me, for us, yung biggest challenge would be giving Toby a sibling. We've been struggling for years and years and years.
"It's been really hard, especially, very recent lang yung sa amin, e.
"Just before Christmas, actually, I suffered another one. So yun yung biggest challenge."
Kyla and her husband Rich Alvarez tied the knot in November 2011, and welcomed their unico hijo Toby in 2013.
She is happy to have the two men by her side.
The ABS-CBN singer continues, "I'm just also very grateful and thankful kasi at least nabigyan kami ng isa.
"And kung madadagdagan pa, bonus na lang yun.
"And I'm happy siguro, kaya rin siguro siya yung binigay, saka ni Lord, si Rich.
"Kasi I don't think anyone would love me like the way he loves me or ever will love me.
"Parang feeling ko, mahirap kasi akong mahalin. Siya lang talaga yung magmamahal sa akin ng ganito.
"So I'm just really thankful."

Rich, for his part, speaks about the ongoing challenge they face as a couple: the daily task of raising their son.
The former basketball player emphasizes the need to choose their battles wisely and to find a common ground to prevent unnecessary conflicts.
"I don't know. I guess just raising our kid is our challenge every day.
"Pick our battles, what I want and what she wants. Before we, you know, before we really, really fight.
"That's all. That's really it."
This, unfortunately, is Kyla's fifth miscarriage.
The fourth one, which she revealed on Instagram, took place in June 2022.
Her third miscarriage happened in July 2021.
In 2018, she suffered two miscarriages—in March and in November.
