Vanna Garcia was 20 years old when she became a mom.
At that time, she was poised for stardom, but her career had to take a backset due to her pregnancy.
After giving birth to her eldest, she decided to resume her showbiz career until she got pregnant again.
She recalled, “When I had my first child, I returned to show business.
“But when I had my second, I felt like I needed to become a mother first.
“So I quit show business when I had my second child.”
Fast forward to 2024, she now has three boys—the eldest is 17 years old.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked, “No more plan to have a girl?”
Vanna quickly answered, “No na. We are happy with our three boys.”

What it is like being a mother so far?
She replied, “Motherhood is good. I have three boys, and they're actually pretty big already.
I have a 17-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 9-year-old.”
But just because they’re now grown-ups does mean that she can already relax as a mom.
“Oh my God, you know, it's going to be different.
“People actually say that you stop taking care of your children when they start growing up.
I think that's only the practical care.
“Because when they're older, you have to be there for them mentally and emotionally.
“So I think being a parent never ends that, even if they get there.”

Didn’t she feel like she missed out a lot when she decided to quit acting?
The former actress shook her head.
“…I continued studying for interior design. It's also something that I'm doing.
“So it's not like you lost a lot or gave up a lot when you became a mom.
“Oh, in fact, I gained a lot when I became a mom.”

Aside from finishing her studies, she also co-own a beauty clinic, the First Bloom, in Bonifacio Global City.
Have any of your sons shown interest in joining showbiz?
“My third, my youngest,” she answered smiling.
“I’m an influencer. That's why I include him so much in my videos. And he's super awesome.
"So, I think out of the three, he's the one [who has interest.”
Vanna continued, “Because my other two boys are more shy. But they're very good into basketball.
"They play.”
