Some celebrities are more secretive than others—especially when it concerns their children, and the circumstances are complicated.
Some—particularly those who are matinee idols and leading ladies—choose to keep mum about having kids due to brand imaging.
But with perfect timing, these secrets are eventually revealed.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) compiles these surprising revelations.
Elizabeth Oropesa
To those who missed the news, Elizabeth Oropesa disclosed in the vlog of Snooky Serna published on YouTube on November 11, 2023, about having a child with actor Dante Rivero.
She claimed, "Dante is the only man in my life that belongs to the showbiz world. He's the only one, no one else."
Elizabeth came out with her revelation after she was asked if Dante was her great love.
Much to the surprise of everyone, she blurted out, "Of course, we have one son!"
Even more surprising, their son, according to her, is already forty years old.
Elizabeth and Dante first got together as co-stars in the 1975 movie Lumapit, Lumayo ang Umaga, which was directed by National Artist Ishmael Bernal.

In Chesca's interview with broadcast journalist Julius Babao, she expressed her wish to meet the Magalona children, Frank and Maxene, and be accepted by them.
However, eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Frank liked a spiteful post on X (formerly Twitter), which said: "I find it weird watching the video of Pinoy Pawnstar where a homewrecker revealed his affair with Francis M., saying, '15 years akong nanamihik.' Of course, you will. You're a mistress. Duh".
Chesca never properly knew Francis who passed away when she was only six months old.
She wishes to continue his legacy through her love for singing and dancing.
