Nag-open up si Michelle Dee tungkol sa turo at suporta sa kanya ng kanyang mga magulang.
Si Michelle ay anak ni Miss International 1979 at aktres na si Melanie Marquez at dating action star na si Derek Dee.
Pero sa murang edad ni Michelle ay naghiwalay ang kanyang mga magulang na naging kontrobersiyal noon.
Sa kabila nito, naibahagi ni Michelle na pinalaki siya nang mabuti ng kanyang mga magulang.
Ang sabi ni Michelle, malaking ambag sa buhay niya ang turo ng tatay na dating aktor.
“One of the greatest things that my dad taught me is to meditate and be in tuned in my mind,” sabi ng beauty queen-actress.
“So, I can honestly say my mental health is in one of the best positions it has ever been, and that’s just the product of being in tuned with myself.
“I know how to balance what’s important. I know where to put my energy, and that resonates with me up until now.”

Tutungo si Michelle sa El Salvador bilang kinatawan ng Pilipinas sa Miss Universe 2023 pageant.
Pagkatapos ng press conference, inusisa ng PEP.ph si Michelle tungkol sa sinabing turo sa kanya ng kanyang ama.
Dito mas ipinaliwanag ni Michelle ang malaking influence sa kanya ng tatay at ang lola na si Regina Dee.
“I consider my grandmother, my father’s mom, to be one of my greatest sources of inspiration — how I live my life, my perspective in life as well," sabi ni Michelle.
Anang Kapuso actress tungkol sa lola, “She founded Inner Peace Foundation, who I am now the president of.”
Ang foundation na itinatag 40 years ago ay tumutulong para sa spiritual enlightenment.
Ang lola ni Michelle na si Regina ay mula sa isang prominenteng pamilya sa China na kilala sa media at pulitika.

Pagpapatuloy ni Michelle, “When she passed away in 2013, the next person that taught me also her learnings was also my father.
“So, he really taught me her ways, the things that I didn’t have the time to learn from my grandmother.
“My dad was the one who taught me and meditation is really something that really helps our family power through any difficult situation. So, I really credit that to my dad.”
Sinabi rin ni Michelle na lilipad ang kanyang buong pamilya sa El Salvador, pero baka hindi makasama ang ama.
Ikinuwento ni Michelle na naaksidente pareho ang kanyang mga magulang last year, at kinailangan niyang hiwalay na alagaan dahil hiwalay nga sila.
“He’s still recovering from that accident last year. So, I know even if he doesn’t, he will be supporting me from the Philippines.”
Hindi naman idinidetalye ni Michelle sa interviews kung anong aksidente ang natamo ng ama.
STAGE MOM MELANIE
Tuluy-tuloy ang trabaho ni Michelle, at pagkatapos ay sumali pa siya ng Miss Universe Philippines 2023 noong Mayo. Pinalad naman siyang masungkit ang main crown.

Sa presscon, natatawang ibinahagi ni Michelle na isang stage mom ang nanay na si Melanie.
Sabi niya, “I always say that my mom is my lucky charm so I’m very grateful that she will be there [El Salvador].
“My mom is my biggest fan, but she’s also my biggest critique.
“Ever since I was young, she was already molding me to have the proper mindset."
Bagamat sinusundan niya ang yapak ng ina, hindi raw siya pinilit nito.
Ani Michelle, “She never forced me to get into pageantry, she never forced me to get into show business.
“But as a young girl, I saw how she used her platform to really give back, to really walk the talk, really use her voice because we all know she is very iconic.
“She uses that influence to instill positive change. That’s why I was really involved in charities at such a young age.
Paglalarawan niya kay Melanie, “Super stage mom, super loving, super supportive, and I know whatever happens she’ll be proud of me.”
