On August 22, 2023, the Pira-Pirasong Paraiso actor turned to his social-media accounts to share glimpses of his father-son day with Jude.
In an Instagram reel, he captured a heartwarming snapshot of Jude giving him a kiss.
The backdrop was set to the soulful melody of Kauai45 and Sweet Cocoa's rendition of Bill Withers and Grover Washington, Jr.'s timeless hit song, Just the Two of Us.
He captioned the post, published as is, "one day you won't be asking for kisses from papa, so I'm gonna save this for when that day comes"
Meanwhile on his Instagram stories, Markus displayed his sentimental side, using music to encapsulate the depth of his emotions in every moment spent with Jude.
His song choice to the photo of his selfie with Jude was Frank Ocean's Pink + White, which is about reminiscing vivid memories about a loved one.
To his photo feeding Jude, he picked Mina Okabe's track Every Second, which covers feelings of fear of change in a relationship and the desire to stay in the present moment with someone.

Markus and his former girlfriend Janella Salvador broke up a few months after Jude turned 1.
The little boy was born on October 20, 2020.
On their co-parenting setup, Janella told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Okay naman, we’re co-parenting nang maayos. Okay naman, wala namang problema."
The Kapamilya actress revealed, "He borrows Jude when he’s free, but he stays with me talaga."
