Team Kramer's Cheska Garcia and Doug Kramer remain hopeful in their pursuit of welcoming another baby into their family.
In an interview on May 15, 2023, Doug shared that they have been pursuing their dream of expanding their family through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
However, despite their efforts, all their attempts thus far have ended in disappointment.
"We've been praying," Doug told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press during their press conference for Mr. DIY.
He continued, "We've had four failed IVFs already. So we have been trying."
Doug further revealed that their pregnancy challenges stemmed from Cheska's previous ligation, a procedure she had to undergo due to the physical strain caused by the successive births of their children, Scarlett in 2011 and Gavin in 2013.
He said, "Cheska's ligated ever since... nung nagkasunod kasi si Scarlett and Gavin, it took a toll on Cheska's body. So the recommendation was to have her ligated."
Doug and Cheska yearn for the cherished moments of cradling a newborn in their arms once again.
Doug expressed, "We miss the baby stage of our children... And we feel like we still have a lot of love to give.
"So whatever God puts in our way for that, if there's another plus one, then [we'll be very grateful]."
Cheska echoed the sentiment, affirming her love and desire for another child, saying, "But I would love to."
Their daughter Scarlett also harbors a desire for another sibling, asserting, "I would like to have [another sibling]... But if not, it's okay naman. I'm happy with my siblings naman. But if we have, it would be exciting."
Seeking solace and support from their fans and well-wishers, Doug openly shared the emotional toll they have endured.
The former basketball player said, "It's really heartbreaking. Every failed idea is very heartbreaking. Especially for Cheska, who has to go through all of the emotions, 'di ba?
"So keep us in your prayers, all of you guys. So if God permits, then you guys should be the first to know."
Cheska and Doug are proud parents to three children, with their eldest, Kendra, now 13 years old.
The desire for another child has been a long-standing dream for Team Kramer, initially announced in February 2019.
However, in September 2019, they revealed the setbacks they encountered with two failed IVF attempts.
