Ever the supportive mother, Ciara Sotto stood proudly beside her eight-year-old son Crixus during one of his biggest matches yet.
Before the game, Ciara wrote in an Instagram post on April 11, 2023, "My dearest son, only I know how hard you’ve been working for this tournament.
"I am amazed at how dedicated you are at such a young age."

She continued, "I hope you never forget that playing abroad, in a team that represents our country is a wonderful blessing from the Lord.
"I will always be grateful for this experience with you. I am most proud of you and your matchless hard work on and off the pitch.
"I love you so much, my Crixus!"
Crixus is a member of the Arayat Football Club, which recently competed at the JSSL (Junior Soccer School and League) 7s tournament in Singapore.
The JSSL 7s is known as Asia’s Premier Youth Football competition, which features the young talent of over 450 teams across 17 countries. It was, no doubt, a thrilling experience for Crixus and his teammates.
Following the game, Ciara continued to show her support for Crixus and the Arayat Football Club in another social media post uploaded the next day.

Although the team lost the match, Ciara remained positive and cheered them on, saying, "Congratulations to our @arayatfc U8 JSSL team! [Philippine flag emoji] [football emoji]"
"Thank you very much to all the coaches and parents for all the guidance, patience, love, and care.
"We may not have won, but seeing the kids play and fight for the cup, with all their heart is already victory for us!
"I love you, our little Arayat Warriors, I’m so proud of each and every one of you."
