An excellent actress hailed as the country's "La Primera Contravida," the late actress Cherie Gil was also known as a doting mother to her three children.
In her social-media accounts showing snippets of her life, Cherie talked abou† motherhood as her "most important, most rewarding role."
She also said in a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Being a mom is one thing I'd really want to be good at.
"I'm kinda done with acting awards, which have not been my motivation anyway whenever I face the camera.
"But when I see my kids happy and achieve something, that's even better than an award.
"And even if I am here, thousands of miles away from them, I will always be there for them when they need me.
"In fact, those times I won't accept projects, it's because of my children."
Her eldest is Jay Eigenmann, her son with her former partner Leo Martinez.
Cherie's two children with Rony Rogoff, her ex-husband turned life-long-companion, are Bianca and Raphael Rogoff.
All her children are based in the U.S.

BIANCA ROGOFF
Bianca is Cherie's only daughter, her second child, and her "panganay" with Rony.
Taking after her mother, Bianca has been pursuing an acting career in the U.S.
She made her debut on the silver screen via the 2020 movie Sensitive and In Love, which starred Madeleine Humphries (formerly known as Carla Humphries) and Alex Medina.
In the movie, she plays the role of Maria, the friend of Madeleine's character Jessica.
By way of showing her support for Bianca, Cherie did a cameo appearance in the movie.
Bianca has always been passionate about theater and acting.
Back when she was about to enter college, Cherie told her, "You want to take another course that you know at least you can rely on?"
The award-winning actress continued, "But ang answer niya sa akin, ‘Mom, to be an actress and when I’m on stage, that’s when I’m happiest.’"
Bianca agreed to have either "Education or Psychology" as her minor and drama as her major.
In 2014, Bianca was admitted to her "dream" school, the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
Her proud mom Cherie told PEP.ph, "..she will be the first Eigenmann who will probably go through a real [acting] course and professional training."
In 2019, Bianca graduated with flying colors wtih a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts major in Drama.
During her time in college, Bianca received a Distinguished Writing Award and the Outstanding Achievement Award.
Currently, she works as an executive assistant at the Warner Bros. Discovery, a premier global media and entertainment company,
Taking also after her father, conductor and violinist, Bianca is musically inclined as well.
But her choice of instrument is the guitar. She can also play the piano.
In an Instagram post last December 2021, Bianca rued her inability to pick up her dad's mastery of the violin.
MEET RAPHAEL ROGOFF
Cherie's youngest child is Raphael.
Raphael also studied at the New York University, where he majored in Global Liberal Studies.
Raphael works as an account executive for Muck Rack, an New York City-based media database.
Raphael finished his high school studies at the Scarsdale High.
His senior high experience seemed like scenes from the Disney's High School Musical (2006).
Raphael was quite a sportsman during his high school years, just like Troy Bolton (played by Zac Efron) from High School Musical,
He was a member of his school's wrestling team; In January 2015, he won 1st place in a wrestling match.
Like Troy, Raphael also explored his passion for theater arts. He participated in their senior class play production titled Bye, Bye, Birdie.
Raphael the adventurer has traveled to many countries, among which were Spain, Cambodia, Thailand, the Czech Republic, and the United Arab Emirates.
Raphael is friend to Pinoy showbiz celebrities Bailey May, Ylona Garcia, and Markus Patterson.
But first and foremost, Raphael loves his two pet poodles.
