Paulo Avelino takes a break from his usual social media posts and uploads throwback photos and videos of his son Aki Reyes.
Aki is Paulo's son with former girlfriend LJ Reyes. He is celebrating his 11th birthday today, July 24.
On his Twitter account, Paulo posted a photo of a younger Aki and tweeted the greeting: "Baby boy. Birthday boy. Love you forever. [infinity sign]"
The Kapamilya actor posted a slightly longer message on Instagram. This time he expressed his desire to spend more time with Aki and to watch him grow up.
His message read: "Happy Birthday to my forever baby Aki. I want nothing but spend more time with you and be with you growing up. I love you forever."
Always ready to make time to Aki
In 2017, LJ mentioned in an interview that Paulo appeared "too busy" to spend time with Aki.
But Paulo denied the case and said he would always be available for his son.
He said, "Basta para sa anak ko, gagawa ako palagi ng oras. Gagawa at gagawa ako ng oras para sa anak ko…Mahal na mahal ko ang anak ko. At lagi akong available para sa anak ko."
