Newlyweds Rocco Nacino and Melissa Gohing are taking their time when it comes to starting a family.
Asked about their baby plans in an episode of the GMA-7 show, Sarap 'Di Ba, last March 13, 2021, Saturday, the couple revealed they've decided to postpone it while they're still adjusting to married life.
The 33-year-old actor said, "Ako yung gustong magka-baby agad. Si Mel ang gusto pang magtrabaho.
"Ang sa akin naman, ayoko lang ng may regrets. 'Sayang naman, hindi ako nakapag-volleyball.' I want to give her that also.
"Kapag talagang sawa na siya sa volleyball, and she feels na sapat na yung nabigay niya to the sport, doon na kami magbabalak."
The couple also talked about the new discoveries they have learned about each other a few weeks into their marriage.
The 29-year-old volleyball player said, "It's different kasi every day makikita mo siya. Paggising mo, siya yung makikita mo."
Rocco added, "Finally, we see how each other sleeps, magkasama kami mag-CR, magkasama kaming maligo.
"Gano'n ang buhay mag-asawa, and it's so much fun kasi every day is always another opportunity for us to learn more about each other."
He revealed what has been hard for both of them is that their work sometimes get in the way, such as when he has to leave for days for locked-in tapings.
The actor said, "Siyempre may disadvantage na hindi tayo magkakasama, I won't get to see the house.
"Excited ako lagi umuwi ngayon and spend time here. Usually kasi gusto ko nasa labas ako, e.
"But now, I always look forward to going home and going home to my wife."
How does Melissa about that?
She said, "Understable, work is work. And we're here to support each other all the time. Nakaka-miss, siyempre mami-miss niyo yung isa't isa."
Rocco and Melissa tied the knot in an intimate civil wedding ceremony at the actor's home in Rizal on January 21, 2021, Thursday. Their wedding came two months after they got engaged in November 2020.
