Korina Sanchez currently lives by the tag "#BestLife" and it is easy to guess why.
The veteran ABS-CBN broadcaster seems to have it all: a long, solid career in journalism and a happy home life with husband Mar Roxas and their kids Pepe and Pilar.
But in her Instagram Live interview with TV writer G3 San Diego last August 10, 2020, Korina said "having it all" is not the same as "living the best life."
She pointed out in her interview, "If there’s anything in life that you have to accept, no one has it all. No one has it all. I don't have it all...
"But we can all try to live our best life.The best revenge is a life well-lived."
Getting married at age 45 and becoming a parent at 54, one of her realizations after these milestone was that one's happiness comes from within.
The Kapamilya broadcaster underlined, "As long as you define what you think is happiness and you live it, then you are successful.
"You do not have to live by anyone else's standards except your own. Really.
"Whether you are single, married, separated, with or without children, that does not define you.
"What defines you is what you think will make you happy.
"Sometimes, we find ourselves in situation where nandyan na iyan, e.
"Pero puwede ka pa rin lumigaya."
