Anne Curtis brings the same flair to her home as she does to the red carpet.

With a nonstop showbiz schedule, Anne treats her home as a sanctuary—a place to rest, recharge, and escape the world.

That’s why she thoughtfully styles her space to reflect both her personal taste and her family’s needs.

Drawing from that philosophy, the It's Showtime host shared some home styling tips at Anko’s Interior Design Masterclass on September 8, 2025, where she teamed up with home and design expert Sarah Dummett.

Held at the Australian home-and-lifestyle brand’s Trinoma branch, Anne and Sarah's masterclass showed fans that making a house feel like home doesn’t require a full renovation.

A few thoughtful, personality-filled touches can make a difference.

Anne says her own home follows a Japandi aesthetic—clean, minimalist, and warm, blending Japanese and Scandinavian design—but she still incorporates unexpected pieces to reflect her personality.

"I’d say clean and bright, yet a little playful. I love lots of light, but I’ll play around with random pieces."

ADD A POP OF COLOR

Anne said, "It's always good to have a little pop of color in there."

The two ladies recommended to use neutrals as a calm canvas and add a pop of color with small accents—like cushions, throws, or even artwork—rather than repainting or buying new furniture.

INTRODUCE NEW SHAPES

Another tip from Sarah: play with shapes in your interiors—think a curved lamp, a standout coffee-table piece, or shell-shaped pillows.

Anne agreed, noting it’s the perfect time to try it: “It’s always nice to snazz up a room with different shapes, especially now that the Christmas season is here.”

STATEMENT KITCHENWARE AND COOKWARE

Anne and Sarah also mentioned the need for a statement cookware and kitchenware—pieces that work well and look beautiful when displayed in the kitchen.

The actress explained: "It's all about creating a space that feels lifted and welcoming.

"And of course, everyday tools can double as décor in your house so your kitchen tells a story without it ever feeling super staged."

ADD SOFT ELEMENTS IN YOUR BATHROOM

Bathroom may not get as much TLC as bedrooms, but Anne and Sarah agree this often-forgotten space deserves attention.

Sarah suggests adding soft, soothing touches—like sage-colored towels—to create a calming vibe.

Anne added: "It's definitely nice to have, um, new towels with new colors. And personally, I like it because I feel like in the morning when you start your day off, it's so nice to have a pop of color there.

"Because that's how you start your day. You like to feel good. I feel that, like, it gives you that feeling of today is gonna be a good day."

She also said that even a single leafy plant, real or faux, can pull the look together and bring life to the bathroom.

ELEVATE WITH FURNITURE

For Anne, larger furniture sets a room’s foundation, so grounding shades like sage, tan, and cream work best, while colorful furniture accents are becoming trendier.

"Everything I saw in there has a pop of color and it's a great way, as I said earlier, having that in your space.

"What's great about Anko today, I saw they had sage, they have creamy tones, they have lilac... I was matching with pillows, with benches... ottomans.

"I feel like everyone before would just stick to neutrals and creams. But [now], you see colors in furniture, even with chairs. People are having an accent chair in their room."

Sarah recommended opting for versatile pieces, side tables or décor accents, to add texture and extra functionality.
