Ryza Cenon recently gave her followers a peek into her new home through a house tour vlog, uploaded on YouTube on August 2, 2024.
Despite the excitement that usually comes with such a milestone, the actress did not hold back in expressing her dissatisfaction with the outcome of her two-year-long home construction project.
"Maraming nangyari. Mahigit two years sigurong ginagawa yung bahay. Nagkaroon din ng problem and basta, stressed ako.
"Buti na lang talaga nagpakalbo ako kung hindi lagas lagas na yung buhok ko sa sobrang stress," Ryza quipped, hinting at the strain the process had caused her.
"So, maraming naging problems sa finishing and all. So, madaming binalikan, and then ginawa, and then binalikan ulit, and then ginawa ulit."

As she guided viewers through various parts of the house, Ryza candidly discussed the unfinished design and incomplete furnishings.
"Hindi pa gaanong nade-design yung bahay at hindi pa kumpleto yung mga gamit.
"Ang hirap kumpletuhin kasi palabas-pasok kami sa bahay," she explained, pointing out just a few of the curveballs they faced while attempting to complete the house.

Ryza also revealed the inconvenience caused by ongoing repairs, which sometimes forced her family to stay in hotels.
"May times na di muna kami dito titira, magche-check in muna kami sa hotel dahil gagawin yung bahay dahil merong sira," she said.
Sharing her frustration further, the Lilim star recounted more complications that arose after moving in last February.
"Lumipat kami nung February then madaming naging problems na ginawa, pinalitan ng contractors.
"Ang dami kasing nagcrack na walls, meron din sa stairs. Nagcrack yung mga wood pati yung main door," she detailed.

Despite these issues, she acknowledged the contractor's efforts to address the problems.
"Pero in fairness naman sa contractor, hindi naman sila yung parang hindi na kami pinapansin. Pumupunta naman sila dito para ayusin," she noted.
RYZA ON NEW HOUSE LOOKING LIKE RENOVATED PROPERTY
Ryza also mentioned that while the house might look appealing from a distance, closer inspection reveals significant flaws.
"Kung titingnan niyo yung house sa malayo, maganda naman talaga siya—yung design, kulay, everything maganda naman po.
"Pero once na tiningnan niyo closely yung details nung house, yung finishing nung house, medyo hindi po ganun kapulido."
Her overall sentiment about the home's condition was clear: "Medyo hindi kami ganon ka-happy dun sa naging outcome nung pinaka-finishing nung bahay."

She even likened the house to a renovated property rather than a brand new one, citing its lack of cleanliness and polished finish.
"Pangit mang pakinggan pero parang hindi siya new house kung ide-describe mo kasi hindi siya malinis.
"Parang mukha siyang ni-renovate na house. Parang ganon yung feel," Ryza admitted.
In a piece of advice to her viewers, the 36-year-old celebrity mom emphasized the importance of being meticulous when selecting a contractor for home construction.
"Kapag kayo naman po yung nagpagawa [ng bahay], at least alam niyo na po yung first step, maging mapanuri sa pagkuha ng contractor," she concluded.
