K-drama actor couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin have decided to let go of the home they had as newlyweds for the price of KRW7 billion or around PHP300 million/USD5.1 million.
The luxury penthouse, which Hyun Bin bought in 2020 for KRW4.8 billion (~PHP204 million/USD3.52 million), is tucked in a super exclusive building complex in the Achiul neighborhood of Guri, Gyeonggi province in South Korea.
Believed to be the residence that served as the pair's honeymoon home since tying the knot in 2022, it boasts of four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a rooftop garden within its 330-square meter capacity.

HYUN BIN AND SON YE JIN'S MARRIED LIFE
After starring as the lead characters in the hit series Crash Landing On You, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin developed romantic feelings for each other, leading to their relationship confirmation on January 1, 2021, and engagement on February 10, 2022.
For his announcement, Hyun Bin wrote on Instagram (as translated by Soompi): "Hello, this is Hyun Bin. Is everyone doing well?
"I am writing this because I wanted to let my fans, who have shown me such enormous support and love and cherished me despite my flaws, know first about this most important decision of my life.
"Probably many of you have guessed, right? It’s true. I have made the important decision of marriage and am cautiously taking steps toward the second stage of my life.
"I have made this promise with the woman who always makes me laugh (Son Ye Jin): to always walk together in the days that lie ahead.

On Son Ye Jin's end, she revealed: "Before I wrote this, I thought a lot about how to express myself.

They officially exchanged wedding vows on March 31, 2022.
According to YTN, the couple's wedding invitation has the unique name "BinJin" — a combination of Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's names — inscribed on a sketch-like drawing of a wedding gown.
Moreover, follow-up reports of the event by the South Korean media confirmed that the ceremony was held at Aston House, Grand Walkerhill Hotel, in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
Three months later, on June 27, 2022, Hyun Bin and and Son Ye Jin announced the happy news of their pregnancy: "For fans who are waiting for this news just as much as we are, we will inform you before it's too late.
"We'll take care of the precious life that came to us~
"I hope you'll also take care of the things that you should take care of in your life and stay healthy.. [praying emoji]"
The star couple welcomed their baby boy on November 27, 2022.
