Anne Curtis had crossed another goal off her bucket list as she completed the 42-kilometer race at the New York Marathon.
The annual event is on top of marathon runner's "what to do in new york," and is one of the biggest and most popular marathons in the world with its race course passing through all five of New York’s borough—Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Manhattan’s Central Park.

On Instagram, she posted a photo of her crossing the finish line.
Anne wrote, “I did it!”
The UNICEF ambassador also thanked the Filipino fans who supported her.
“I can’t explain how fulfilling it is when you cross the finish line. It certainly isn’t easy but the whole experience is worth the physical pain.
“The spectators are there to cheer you on, give you power high-fives and push you when you feel like you want to stop.
“To all the kababayans that were out there today to cheer me on, screaming, and some even with posters, maraming salamat!
“Nakakaiyak and iyan po ang dahilan kung bakit halos hindi nawala ang ngiti ko.”
How did she prepare for the marathon?
