Doug stresses importance of discipline
Doug emphasized the importance of consistency when it comes to building strength:
“If you want to get strong, go to the gym and lift consistently. Start with 1 hr a day 3-5x a week. I workout 6x a week, minimum 2 hours.”

Diet and Weight Loss
The Team Kramer patriarch also shared one of his biggest realizations: that weight loss isn’t about punishing workouts but smarter food choices.
“If you want to lose weight, eat the right food, don't overeat. Calory deficit. Most people don't realize they're unconsciously overeating, calorie surplus. Abs are made in the kitchen!”
Doug follows a high-protein, low-carb, and low-sugar diet from Monday to Saturday, keeping his nutrition clean and purposeful.

He also swears by intermittent fasting: “Fast 6pm - 12nn. Eat 2 meals 12nn and 6pm. Fasted workouts in the morning are what works for me too. Again, don't overeat.”
According to Doug, these practices help him feel refreshed and detoxed, aligning with his belief that wellness is holistic.

Cheat Days and Enjoyment
While his weekdays are marked by strict discipline, Doug allows room for enjoyment on Sundays.
“I don’t eat breakfast Monday to Saturday. But I enjoy my french toast and pancakes Sundays. Cookies, cake, spaghetti, rice, and sometimes fast food during the day—I still enjoy, guys!”
Looking and Feeling Young
Doug’s message is clear: “If you want to look younger than your age, have 'happy hormones,' feel healthy, and hopefully live longer, do all [of the] above!”
He ended his post by giving credit where it’s due: “Lastly, praise the Lord for His grace and love to do all these things!”

Lessons Learned the Hard Way
This isn’t the first time Doug has used social media to promote fitness.
On March 5, 2025, he opened up about losing 30 pounds over two years.
In a side-by-side transformation post, he revealed the trap he had fallen into despite working out consistently:
“I'd like to blame it on the pandemic eating and the viral ube pandesal. [laughing emoji]
“The odd part here, I was still consistently working out 2 hours in the morning on the second pic.
“So I had to learn one of the biggest lessons the hard way, YOU CANNOT OUT EXCERCISE A BAD DIET!
“You can workout all you want, but if your eating habits won't change, you won't see changes.”
He went on to redefine his own mindset around fitness:
1. “Workout to get stronger, not to lose weight.”
2. “Eat better, to look and feel better.”
Doug attributed his physical transformation not just to gym sessions but to shifts in mindset, nutrition, and lifestyle habits.
And as he teased in the caption, there may be more nuggets of fitness wisdom to come: “I still have so much knowledge I can share… maybe on a vlog soon, let's see.”
“Health is wealth guys,” he reminded.
And Doug Kramer, at 42, is living proof.
