Matagal-tagal ding nawala sa social media ang former sexy star turned chef at restaurant owner na si Aya Medel.
Yun pala ay nagkasakit siya ng brain aneurysm.
Ayon sa healthline.com, ang brain aneurysm ay "deformity of an artery where a spot in the arterial wall in the brain bulges and fills with blood."
Walang edad na pilinipili ito, at hindi siya dapat balewalain.
"A brain aneurysm is a potentially life threatening condition that can affect a person at any age. If a brain aneurysm bursts, or ruptures, it’s an emergency situation that can result in a stroke, brain damage, and even death if not treated immediately."

Sa kanyang Facebook account ngayong araw, September 21, 2024, sinabi ni Aya sa kanyang mga followers na nagkaroon siya ng brain aneurysm.
Ang kuwento niya, "I am back...
"Many people are wondering what happened to me, why suddenly I stopped posting, talking to people, and I was gone for months.
"Yes! I had a brain aneurysm, but I survived."
Hindi nagdetalye si Aya kung paano siya naka-recover.
Pero ayon sa mga medical websites, surgery ang treatment rito either to prevent the rupture or to repair a ruptured aneurysm.
Bukod sa surgery, posible ring sumailalim ang pasyente sa "physical, speech and occupational therapy," ayon sa webMD website.
Kasunod nito, nagpasalamat si Aya sa mga taong tumulong, lalo na ang kanyang pamilya at mga kapwa nanay na nagsugod sa kanya sa ospital noong natumba siya.
Sabi ni Aya, "I'd like to thank the following people who’s gone through it with me. To my daughter Ishi and son Simon, and to Ei for being there for me when I needed you the most. To Laylene for staying beside me during the crucial period and to the whole family, for your love and support.
"I'd also like to give a special thanks to the fellow mommies who brought me to the hospital when I fell ill."
Hindi niya kinalimutan ang mga doktor, nurses, at hospital staff na nagtulung-tulong noong siya ay naka-confine.
Dagdag niya, "To the surgeons, doctors, nurses and to all the staff of Cardinal Santos Hospital, most specially to my Neurosurgeon, Dr. Jay Villavicencio for performing endovascular coiling as the medical management choice for my condition.
"A special thanks to Dr. Ranoa & Dr.Jimenez, I cannot express how much I am thankful for your exceptional desire to please your patients. I just wanted to write and express my gratitude for your great treatment.
"Please know how very deeply | appreciate what you have done for me.
"Thank you all for the well wishes and for your prayers during those difficult times.
"I wouldn't be alive right now if not because to all of you."

AYA MEDEL TO HER RESTAURANT PATRONS
Nagpasalamat din si Aya sa kanyang mga kliyente sa pagmamay-aring restaurant na matatagpuan sa Tabaco City, Albay.
Kahit na wala raw siya roon, hindi tumigil sa pagtangkilik ang kanyang mga suki.
Aniya, "To Ishiaya’s Garden Bistro clients whose been looking for me and extending their well wishes, thank you for the concern and for your patronage."
Aminado si Aya na bibihira ang makakaligtas sa brain aneurysm at masuwerte siyang isa siya sa nakaalpas dito.
