CONSISTENCY
So, what was the secret behind Doug's remarkable achievement?
While he teased about revealing it in another video, he emphasized the importance of consistency, proactive lifestyle changes, and stepping on the scale fearlessly.
He continued to convey in his caption: "Proud to say, im at the best shape of my life at almost 41 yrs old! [praying hands emoji]
"I can also dunk the ball with ease again. I got so surprised!"

Doug went on to address his followers, "It's really hard to notice the weight gain when you look at yourself every day.
"Don't be afraid to weigh yourself and make changes that will work for you. Be proactive and start moving.
"It'll be more challenging if you keep procrastinating."

Unfailingly, Doug did not forget to acknowlege the support of his wife Cheska Garcia-Kramer throughout his fitness journey.
"I also discovered how much @chekakramer loves me, because even at my peak weight and stomach, she still said I was sexy!
"She really thought the first part of my video was fake. Like Seriously?! [laughing with tears emoji]"
Cheska quipped in the comments section: "I honestly didn't see you like that. In my eyes you were macho.
"I thought you altered your video. Good job baby! I admire your dedication! [emojis]"

ICE BATH
One surprising element of Doug's fitness routine that caught attention was his use of ice baths.
He described the experience as "the best feeling ever! Well...afterwards!"
According to fitness experts, ice baths primarily help in reducing inflammation and improve recovery by changing the way blood and other fluids flow through one's body.
It is also said to help flush away metabolic waste post-workout.
In a post published on March 17, 2024, Doug shared his exhilarating plunge into freezing temperatures, focusing on the immediate rejuvenation and benefits he felt afterward.

He related, "Plunging in -1 degree Celcius is just next level cold! Arctic cold! Haha!
"The initial shock of your body saying, ‘what is happening???’ I always tell myself, ‘don't hyperventilate, control your breathing.’
"The first 90 secs is painful, but I focus on getting on over that temporary feeling.
"I went for 4 mins, and I felt absolutely recharged! The benefits outweigh the pain.
"Research on regular cold plunging and you'll see! [ok sign emoji]"
