Robi Domingo has been a constant source of support for his wife, Maiqui Pineda, as she courageously confronts a rare autoimmune disease.
On August 3, 2023, Maiqui disclosed that she was diagnosed with dermatomyositis, an uncommon inflammatory condition characterized by muscle weakness and skin rash.

MAIQUI PINEDA: GRATEFUL FOR ROBI DOMINGO'S UNWAVERING LOVE AND SUPPORT
Through heartfelt updates shared on Instagram Stories, Robi has offered glimpses into Maiqui's ongoing battle against her illness.
Currently, she undergoes extensive treatment sessions at the hospital, enduring lengthy appointments.
Throughout this challenging journey, Robi has made sure to accompany her during these hospital visits, demonstrating his unwavering dedication and support.
According to Robi's posts, her most recent treatment lasted approximately 8 to 12 hours.
Accompanied by a picture from the hospital, he captioned the post, "Time for her treatment! [emoji] Went here at around 745 am, we finished before 7pm."
While undergoing treatment, Maiqui snapped a photo of her husband asleep on a chair, patiently waiting for her session to end.
She wrote, "@iamrobidomingo already sleepy but we still have 4-5 hours to go [emoji]."
Robi reposted it, adding, "We initially thought it was until after lunch time..."
In his next post, Robi is seen sitting and looking at his phone.
He continued, "Ok I was wrong, the whole treatment is now 7-8 hours long since they increased the dosage [emoji]."
Maiqui, in turn, apologized for any inconvenience her treatment may have caused her husband and expressed her gratitude for his steadfast support.
She wrote, "Sorry and thank you so much @iamrobidomingo for being with me!!!! 4 more to go [emoji]."
As they approached the final three hours, Robi displayed strength for his wife.
He wrote, "Then the medical prods told us it will be until around 6pm [emoji] LABAN! [emoji]."
Meanwhile, Maiqui expressed her relief as they were moved to a more comfortable seating arrangement while awaiting the completion of her treatment.
Maiqui said, "Finally moved to the lazy boy chair. 3 more hours. Fighting!!! [emoji] @iamrobidomingo."
In her last post, Maiqui expressed deep appreciation for her supportive husband, affectionately dubbing Robi as the "best hubby."
"DONE!!! We've been here since 8 am. Now to finally go home and rest. Can't thank @iamrobidomingo enough for being with me here!!! Best hubby [emoji]."
Robi has a short and sweet response to his wife and wrote, "Always here."
