GMA-7 actress and beauty queen Michelle Dee is in high spirits following a successful surgery that was performed on her birthday last Monday, April 24, 2023.
Michelle shared on Twitter that she is doing fine after being urgently taken to the hospital for surgery.
In her tweet, she wrote, "Just got out of the operating room. All is well & all love."

In another post on Instagram Stories, Michelle shared a selfie taken after her operation.
"We gucci," she wrote, which is slang for "we're good."

Hartman Communications released a statement to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), stating that Michelle underwent surgery "due to hemorrhage and bleeding."
No further details were released, as of press time.
But Michelle assured her fans that she is recovering well after the operation.
Around five hours after the surgery, she tweeted that she was feeling "much better compared to this morning."

Following Michelle's surgery, her dearest friends and family conveyed their warm wishes and messages for a speedy recovery.
GMA-7 actress Rhian Ramos visited her in the hospital and brought a bunch of roses to her room.
On her Instagram Stories, Rhian posted a photo of Michelle holding the bouquet, along with a caption that read, "You are one of a kind," punctuated by a white heart emoji.

Although celebrating her birthday in a hospital room was not ideal, Michelle still feels appreciative for all the affection she received as she turned 28 years old.
Apart from Rhian, other celebrities who paid Michelle a visit in her hospital room were Kapuso actress Max Collins, fellow Miss Universe Philippines 2023 candidate Samantha Panlilio, and her brother Abraham Lawyer.
Michelle expressed her gratitude by sharing a photo of her hospital visitors on her Instagram Stories with the caption, "Even though it wasn't the birthday celebration I had in mind, their presence made it a happy one. All the love."

Just before her surgery, Michelle managed to share a birthday post on her Instagram Reels, highlighting her participation in Miss Universe Philippines 2023's charity event, held in collaboration with Autism Philippines and SM Supermalls.
In the accompanying caption, Michelle urged her followers to let their purpose guide their lives and goals, and to use their voices to make a positive impact on the world.
