Beauty Gonzalez loves posting her swimsuit photos on Instagram.
But more than flaunting her sexy figure, the 30-year-old GMA-7 actress posts her swimwear photos on Instagram to remind her followers that "every body is a bikini body," and to encourage moms like her to be kind to themselves.
"It's something to inspire everyone and also to myself, na I should be happy with how I look also and feel good about myself," Beauty says in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) before her PEP Headliner shoot held on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
She adds, "It's to remind me na I'm okay, and for everyone else na kahit mommy na kayo, [kaya niyo rin]."
NO LONGER THE BEAUTY FROM PBB
It has been 14 years since Beauty joined the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus (PBB) in 2008, but some fans haven't moved on from her "chubby PBB image."
Beauty admits that one of her peeves is when she gets comments saying, "Ang payat mo na pala!"
She tells PEP.ph, "Sa totoo lang, naiirita ako, e. A lot of people are still thinking mataba ako, e.
"Kahit saang probinsiya pumupunta, 'Hala, ang payat-payat mo!' 'Mama, 30 na ako, gusto kitang sabunutan, ang tagal-tagal na nung PBB!'"
Beauty continues, "Actually, hindi ko siya masyado napag-usapan. Basta pumayat na lang ako, e. Pero talagang kailangan, work, work, work, talaga e. Ito na yung business ko, e.
"I want to inspire people and [give people something to aspire for]. If kaya ko pumayat, why not you, di ba?"

Beauty was able to trim down her weight after her PBB stint.
But she gained it back during her pregnancy with Olivia in 2015.
After her pregnancy, Beauty said she used her pre-baby clothes as motivation to get back into shape.
She says, "Well honestly, when I got pregnant, yung mga damit ko before, hindi ko tinapon. So nasa isang tupperware siya and it was my goal na kailangan kumasya ako doon."
Beauty also stopped weighing herself after her pregnancy since it had a negative impact on her self-confidence.
"And after that, I don't weigh myself. I have one jeans, one [pair of] shorts. Yun lang yung sinusuot ko and I feel like, 'Okay, ito na yun!' Kapag kasya pa siya.
"Because if I weigh myself, I'll feel bad about myself every day."

How does Beauty maintain her figure today? Intermittent fasting.
The Fake Life actress told PEP.ph, "I only eat one meal a day, e, pero kumpleto na yun."
She added, "Yun lang yung nag-work sa akin, e. And honestly, it makes me think faster.
"Mas madali ako mag-memorize [ng lines] kesa busog ako, inaantok na ako.
"Parang nasanay na rin yung tummy ko."
She also practices the "addition-subtraction rule" with her meals.
She explains, "Let's say if I want to drink, I will not eat dessert. Yun ganun, kailangan patas-patas.
"If I want to eat dessert, walang alcohol. Para, you know, mag-compensate yung mga kinakain mo.
"You have to get rid of something if you add something, like that."
While she makes sure to work out regularly to keep herself fit, Beauty reiterates the importance of maintaining a diet when it comes it trimming down the excess weight.
"You know, it's what you eat more than the workout. Kahit mamatay-matay ka pa mag-workout, kung kumain ka naman ng burger after, wala rin. It's really about what you eat."
The first step to living an active lifestyle may be the hardest, but Beauty says it's always better to take baby steps when it comes to building better habits.
She tells PEP.ph, "Small habits will take you a long way. You start with a small one now, 'Sige, push up ka today.' The next day another naman.
"It's a continuous responsibility and habit also, e, and eat healthily."
