After a year of "fitness hibernation," Yassi Pressman is ready to get back in shape and live a healthier lifestyle.
On January 10, 2022, the VIVA actress revealed in an Instagram post that she sought the help of fitness coaches Darren Liu and Carlos Hellstern in her latest fitness journey.
Yassi also shared what motivated her to make the lifestyle change.
Part of her caption read (published as is), "I woke up one day from my fitness 'hibernation' & decided to get back on track.
"I had fun letting go and not caring, chomping down all the chips, eating fastfood almost ever yday, drinking all the soda and snacking at midnight, but I listened to my body after letting go & I realized I wanted to go back to being strong, and hopefully this time even healthier than before."
Although the actress embraces her curves, she plans to get rid some of the cellulite that has formed in certain areas, particularly her thighs.
She continued, "Loved my thiccccness tho, [peach emoji], I'm definitely going to TRY to keep that in places where I want it, hihi. Buttt I will definitely also try MY BEST to eliminate the new cellulite that I have developed lol. [emoji]
"Still sucking in here, hopefully soon I wont have to [emoji] If you don't believe me check my next post."
She ended the caption of her post with the hashtags #yassisfitnessjourney and #YASSLETSGETIT.
She expressed the same sentiments in a separate video posted on Instagram, where she encouraged fans to join her journey.
She said in the video, "I think that there’s nothing wrong with giving yourself a break. Gusto mo rin magpahinga, and just to have fun, and to let go.
"I call it my 'hibernation period.'
"This year I want to start new again, and I wanted to get back on track so I got into a program.
"Sana samahan niyo ako, and if you guys are rooting for me, please comment #YASSLETSGETIT
"And I hope this post inspires you guys and sana sama-sama tayo on this journey of being healthier and happier this 2022."
In another Instagram post on January 12, 2022, Yassi flaunted her "food baby," and also reminded her followers not to believe everything they see on social media.
She wrote in one of the photos, "Don't believe social media all the time, angles that make some of us perfect aren’t always perfect in real life.
"Remember that kids! And that’s okay! Just work towards your goals when you’re ready! #YASSLETSGETIT"
In the caption, Yassi added, "Hoping this inspires someone out there too today! [emoji]
"CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR WORKING OUT POSTS TOO GUYS! or whatever your doing to work towards your goals!"
