Kung may plano kang pumunta sa concert o party anytime soon, you may want to reconsider attending it.

Nitong Sabado, February 8, 2020, naglabas ng advisory ang Department of Health (DOH) na iwasan muna ang pagdalo sa anumang public gathering amid the 2019 novel Coronavirus outbreak.

"With the ongoing threat of the spread of the 2019 novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV ARD), the Department of Health strongly urges the public to avoid attending, participating in, and organizing events that draw a huge number of attendees," sabi ng DOH sa website nito.

Dugtong nito, "We would like to assure the public that all measures to contain the potential spread of 2019-nCoV infection are being explored, studied, and implemented to keep the Filipino people safe from the threats of this infectious disease."

Confirmed deaths also spiked to 1,012, with one in the Philippines and the rest in China.

Payo ng World Health Organization (WHO) na gawin ang mga sumusunod religiously para maiwasang mahawa sa deadly disease na ito:

  2. Kapag ika'y umuubo o bumabahing, siguraduhing takpan ang iyong bibig at ilong with your flexed elbow or tissue. Itapon agad ang tissue at hugasan ang iyong mga kamay pagkatapos.
