Alden Richards flaunts his hard-earned abs on Instagram.
The post, which shows the GMA-7 actor shirtless and in a pair of sweat pants, appears to be the high point of his fitness journey, which began in March 2018.
Back then, he did intermittent fasting and followed the 16:8 diet, which allowed him to eat for eight hours and then fast for 16 hours.
His diet was coupled with weight-lifting exercises and high-intensity interval training.
But Alden had difficulty sustaining this routine when he started doing his prime-time series Victor Magtanggol in July 2018.
By the time the series ended in November 2018, the GMA-7 talent had gained 20 pounds.
Alden resumed his fitness routine when he began working on the 2019 film Hello, Love, Goodbye.
Since then, he has been doing "a lot of supersets and high-intensity interval trainings."
The Kapuso star works out for an hour and a half either at the gym or at home.
Today, it's obvious Alden's hard work is clearly paying off.
