Tinalakay ang “biggest mistake people make when cooking pasta,” sa isang YouTube video ng Business Insider noong 2017.
“I think the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard about making pasta is people who waste olive oil in the water so the pasta doesn’t stick,” sabi ni Fabian.
Paliwanag niya, magdidikit-dikit daw ang pasta kapag hinayaan lamang itong maluto at hindi hinalo.
Diin pa niya: “Now, if you throw a pound of pasta in the water, and then you go play soccer or take a shower, the pasta might stick to the bottom. That’s natural."
"Don’t waste good olive oil for the pasta not to stick. Just stir your pasta, you lazy people out there."
Wala raw ibang trick kaya kung may mag-claim na kaparehong hack, aniya: “That’s a lie, it’s wasteful, and you should be ashamed of yourself because you should be there stirring your pasta, which doesn’t make it stick anyway, if you stir it.”

PUTTING SALT IN THE WATER IS FINE
“Salt’s fine. You can salt pasta. Salt pasta is good, as long as you don’t have a too spicy sauce or too salty sauce."
“For example, if you have a four-cheese sauce, naturally, there’s a lot of salt in it. So, you don’t wanna over-salt your pasta.”
here's ANOTHER REASON NOT TO USE OIL
Sa video na in-upload noong February 2024, may overlay text ito na ganito: “You’re ruining your pasta by giving in to this myth.”
Payo pa niya, “If you don’t want your noodles to stick, just stir as soon as you put them in the water.”
“But the main reason you don’t want to put oil in your pasta water because it keeps the sauce from sticking [to the pasta].”
