Mark Bumgarner's name continues to make a loud buzz in the fashion world, and his latest design creations for Star Magic Ball 2017 solidified his newfound status as celebrity designer red-carpet favorite.
Mark Bumgarner's designs have contributed to some of our favorite fashion moments at the annual celebrity gala.
We first heard his name making the rounds of the red carpet at Star Magic Ball 2015, when Julia Barretto wore this blush pink mermaid gown with a crystal-embellished halter neckline.
A year later, Mark captivated fashionistas once more when he dressed Jodi Sta. Maria in a black, off-shoulder ball gown.
For Star Magic Ball 2017, here are the Mark Bumgarner designs that made heads turn.
JULIA BARRETTO
Julia donned a Mark Bumgarner gown once more as she walked the annual ball's red carpet with her date and onscreen partner Joshua Garcia.
Her backless, crystal-embellished slip dress made her the worthy recipient of Pond's "Belle of the Ball" award that night.
JODI STA. MARIA
Jodi's gown appears to have taken style inspiration from Audrey Hepburn's iconic black dress in the opening sequence of the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Jodi's custom gown had a gold, crystal-studded collar on its halter top.
Hairstylist Jay Wee swept up her hair in a sleek, high ponytail.
The dress also flaunted Jodi's flawless back.
MAYMAY ENTRATA
For her debut at the Star Magic Ball, the Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 winner chose Mark as her designer.
She was a sight to behold as she walked in a lean, sharp, custom-made ball gown in white accented with "thousands of pearls and Swarovski crystals."
HEART EVANGELISTA
It was a no-brainer for the Kapuso actress and former Star Magic talent to ask Mark to create her gown for the night.
Heart and Mark are friends and fashion collaborators.
Together, they created a capsule collection last year.
That one was a fusion of Mark's fashion flair and of Heart's eccentric art, and was aptly called Mark Bumgarner x Love Marie.
For last night's Star Magic Ball, Heart wore a black custom gown with a layered lace train.
TOOTSY ANGARA
Senator Sonny Angara's wife wore a tight-fitting ruched gown that accentuated her slender figure.
MEGAN YOUNG
Megan's off-the-shoulder gown added inches to her 5'8" height.
Its voluminous bell sleeves were catchy.
