Lauren Reid is the new It girl.
Having landed the cover of Preview magazine's biggest fashion issue this 2016 is no small feat, to think her entry to Philippine showbiz happened only two months ago.
Styled by Preview's creative director Vince Uy, Lauren got to wear the latest pieces from the Fall/Winter collection of different luxury brands—such as Gucci, Balenciaga, Lanvin, and others—for her 10-page spread in the country's leading fashion magazine.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press, Lauren exclaimed, "It's amazing. It's something that I never expected ever in my life before.
"It's unreal, really. It's unreal."
Showbiz was not exactly part of her plan when she decided to move to the Philippines from Australia.
It was last June when her brother James dubbed her the "next It girl" in a series of posts on Instagram.
Next, she signed a management deal with VIVA Artist Agency, which also handles his brothers'—James and Jack—career.
The showbiz newbie is now poised to prove every one that she's not just a famous actor's sister.
She said, "Focusing on hosting, that's what I really want to pursue in the Philippines."

When asked how she prepared for the Preview shoot, Lauren answered, "I'm preparing every day for photo shoots and what not. I look after myself, gym, and what not so every day is a preparation."
When asked about her beauty secret, Lauren underlined that being comfortable with how she looks remains her top priority.
But for her daily regimen, "On a day to day, once again, you just have to be comfortable with like the foundation you put on your skin, and just make yourself as natural as possible.
"Because you'll feel better, and it will come across to other people."
How about personal style?
She pretty much said the same thing: Being comfortable with what you wear will easily translate to confidence.
"If you're not comfortable, people will see a lack of confidence. So I'm confident with what I wear because it's comfortable, it's simple, it feels good."
Who is her style icon?
Lauren replied U.S. President Barack Obama.
"He wears the same thing on his office every day, right? I think the idealistic mindset behind wearing the same thing every day or something similar is that they have more time to think about more important things for the day rather than having to think about your outfit or makeup, and all the stuff, which I really appreciate because that's good for productivity."
Still, Lauren takes fashion inspirations from supermodels Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
"They're beautiful girls and they know how to dress well so I appreciate that but, really, I just wear something comfortable."
