What Baste Duterte and family will wear on inauguration day

Baste Duterte and his siblings' outfits are all set for their father's oath-taking on June 30.

According to Aztec Barba, designer of Baste Duterte, they want to help and promote the Mindanaoan silk so that the "workers who produce it will have a stable livelihood." 

Baste Duterte and his family are all set to attend President-elect Rodrigo Duterte's oath-taking on Thursday, June 30.

With only two days left before the inauguration day, their designer gave a sneak peek of their Filipiniana outfits through GMA's 24 Oras:

Baste will be wearing a Barong Tagalog made by Davao Fashion and Design Council (DFDC) out of Mindanaoan silk woven from Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.

Its design was some inspired by a Mindanaoan tribe.

His girlfriend Kate will be wearing a terno made of Piña, with lace details on the mid-section.

Their two-year-old son, Yair, also has a miniature Barong.

Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte will be clad in a royal blue gown by Silverio Anglacer.

Davao Vice-Mayor Paolo Duterte will be wearing a barong made by designer Erwin Lee Tan.
