Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo shared a heartwarming detail about the wedding gown worn by her eldest daughter Aika Robredo.

On Monday, December 29, 2025, the former vice president revealed on Facebook that Aika’s wedding gown for her marriage to Jim Guzman was made from several old Barong Tagalog pieces owned by her late father, former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo.

Posting a photo of the newlyweds, Leni wrote: “Aika’s wedding gown was lovingly crafted from her Papa’s old barongs, making sure he was honored and cherished on such an important milestone.”
